Here's a great chance to study at the Cloquet Forestry Center! It is beautiful setting, you'll have time to walk, and lots of time to work (and you can opt out of sleeping).  They feed us well and in general there is lots of enthusiasm for creativity. Think of this workshop as one that will inspire you and give you ideas for years to come. I'm hoping to see students that I've had in the past, and looking forward to meeting others who are interested in working and experimenting with different mediums. No previous experience is necessary, only a passion for creativity.

Participants in this retreat will experimenting with a variety of materials, including watercolor, acrylic, pastel, collage, cut paper, found items, and more. From William Blake, the first acknowledged practitioner of the form, to artists from any number of artistic movements—Futurism, Dada, Post-Modernism, Pop, and on—artists' books have remained popular because of their versatility of content, adaptable formats and structures, and integration of text, image, and form.
